Model 120
Good Things Do Come in Small Packages
The Series 6 Model 120 is designed for customers who need
smaller systems that provide powerful functionality and high
reliability -- and that can grow with their businesses. Because
Centigram employs a single user interface and the same 32-bit
operating system for all Series 6 models, the Model 120 provides
an easy migration path to the larger Model 640.
CHOOSE YOUR STARTING POINT: THE MODEL 120I AND MODEL 120S
Centigram now offers two enhanced models of the Model 120 system:
- The Model 120I uses a standard 486SX central processing unit (CPU) to run any combination of optional and base features. Integrated drive electronics (IDE) technology integrates the system's controller functions into the disk assembly, making an interface card unnecessary. Fewer components contribute to the Model 120I's low cost and high reliability.
- The Mode 120S uses a Pentium-based CPU that allows it to support almost twice as many ports as the Model 120I system. Small computer system interface (SCSI) hard drive technology provides access to multiple hard drives, dramatically increasing the number of message storage hours available.
Both Model 120 systems support all the same applications and features as higher-capacity Series 6 models, including:
- VoiceMemo ®, a feature-rich voice messaging product.
- FaxMemo, a mailbox-based fax management product.
- OneView (TM), an integrated multimedia messaging product for the desktop.
- CallAgent ®, an advanced call processing solution for individuals and organizations.
- MESA-Net, a digital networking option that can link up to 1,500 Centigram servers.
- Digital integration with virtually any PBX or central office or telephone system.
- Computer telephony integration (CTI) and digital signal processing (DSP) technology for future application support.
Because the Model 120 incorporates proven off-the-shelf components, customers enjoy a feature-rich high quality solution that's cost-effective as well.
STANDARD COMPONENTS PROVIDE OUTSTANDING VALUE
The Model 120 incorporates proven off-the-shelf components, allowing customers to enjoy a feature-rich, high quality solution that's cost-effective as well. In addition the Model 120's superior design includes:
- Hard drive redundancy that ensures that no system data is lost -- even if one of the drives is removed from service. A primary drive and its redundant partner function as "mirror images" of each other; when a drive is put back into service, it automatically synchronizes itself with its "partner". As a result, hard drive redundancy enhances system availability.
- A watchdog timer that monitors and automatically initializes the system to recover any possible system error events, saving you time and service calls.
